     About Tornado Tina

Tina, like many, remembers hula hooping from childhood.  She can even recall winning contests for keeping the hoop going the longest.  As an adult, she began hooping again in 2002.  The toy became a fun place to let loose.  Without the knowledge of a "hoop craze" reemerging, Tina simply enjoyed the joy of dancing in the hoop.  Five years into this playful space, she was introduced to the idea of using the hoop with fire and performance art gaining the name "Tornado Tina".  She continues to fire perform with Prescott's local fire troop Pyro Klectic.  In the last year, Tina has created a hula hoop fitness program designed to provide a full body workout.  She currently offers weekly classes in Prescott, Az.
