Benefits of Hula Hoop Exercise
Hula Hooping is no longer just for kids! Children have a healthy approach to living in that they don't tend to worry and stress. While hooping may help you feel like a kid again, the health benefits will incorporate into your life in surprising ways. Along with relieving stress, this exercise encourages spinal flexibility, improves posture, improves balance, and improves coordination. Hooping burns an average of 400 to 600 calories per hour while providing great aerobic exercise. With all of the ways hoops can be used in a work out, the results can include tone thighs, abdominal muscles, back muscles, gluteal muscles, and arms. Hula Hooping can also provide an outlet for creative expression and meditation. I have found that hula hooping is great for those who do not gravitate to a "work out regiment". So much fun is being had that it is hard to categorize hooping into our regular idea of disciplinary exercise.
